Information Collection from Children

Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13 (if you are located in the United States) and under the age of 16 (if you are located outside the United States). If you are using our TransGlobal Education services, we may receive limited information about children from you during enrollment for valid business purposes, as described in TransGlobal Education Group’s Terms of Service. If you are using our services to file personal tax returns, we may receive information about children from you. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected personal information from someone under the applicable age listed above, we will promptly delete it. California Customer Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, under certain circumstances and in accordance with applicable law, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA Rights”) may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information. This section describes those rights and how you can exercise them with TransGlobal Holding Company.

CCPA Rights Requests

Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information in the preceding 12 months.

You can request the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you (also called a data portability request). To submit a request for this information, please send an email to info@transglobalus.com using “California Request to Know Information” in the subject line of your email.

You can also request the following categories of information:

  • The categories of sources from which the personal information was collected.
  • The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling the personal information.
  • The categories of third parties with whom we shared personal information.

To submit a request for this information, please send an email to info@transglobalus.com using “California Right to Know Categories” in the subject line of your email.

For all requests regarding the right to know as described above, you must provide us with your name, email address, and phone number. You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

Failure to provide all of the foregoing information will prevent us from processing your request. Further, in order to verify your identity, we will match that information to the information we have in our systems. In order to designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf, you must send a signed, written authorization to us at info@transglobalus.com.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request.

Deletion Request Rights

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. We may not delete all of your personal information if one of the following exceptions applies:

  • Transactional: to complete a transaction for which the personal information was collected, provide a good or service requested by you, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or perform a contract we have with you;
  • Security: to detect data security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities;
  • Error Correction: to debug or repair any errors that impair existing intended functionality;
  • Legal: to protect against fraud or illegal activity or to comply with applicable law or a legal obligation, or exercise rights under the law, such as the right to free speech; comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 seq.); or
  • Internal Use: to use your personal information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information (i.e., to improve our services) and reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.

We will also maintain a record of your CCPA Rights requests.

Please note that if we delete your personal information, services provided may not maintain the same functionality. For example, your previous opt out requests will not be saved and saved preferences and information will no longer be available.

To submit a request to delete, please send an email to info@transglobalus.com. You can also call us at 626.447.7888 to submit your request by phone. You must provide us with your name, email address and phone number. Failure to provide all of the foregoing information will prevent us from processing your request. Further, in order to verify your identity, we will match that information to the information we have in our systems. Additionally, some requests may be subject to the company’s identity verification procedure. In order to designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf, you must send a signed, written authorization to us at info@transglobalus.com, or alternatively, you may send the written authorization by mail to the address below.

If you wish to make multiple requests under this section, we recommend sending the deletion request last, as we will not be able to fulfill your other requests once we have deleted your personal information.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

We do not currently and will not sell (as sell is defined in CCPA) any personal information.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA Rights and we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you with a lesser quality of services if you exercise any of your CCPA Rights.
